Observations

My group and I were out skinning in the Alpental Backountry, in the snow lake/Chair Peak area. From source lake, we skinned up towards the snow lake divide, and then cut left to the thumbtack. From the thumbtack, we booted up to the col entrance to the north face of Chair Peak (see photo). Just under the col entrance and to the left we saw several glide cracks. Some of these cracks are directly above the skin track.
