No signs of any avalanche activity. Not even small loose-wet avalanches in the warm afternoon sun.
Below 6000', spring "corn snow" conditions prevail.
Between 6000'and 7500', shallow snow was covered with thick ice (rough or smooth), that persisted all afternoon on many places.
Between 7500' and the rime at 8250", a very thick hard layer of old rime ice is covered by 3-8" of wind transported snow with a rough icy crust. Very warm temps today warmed and softened this top layer to a depth of several inches.
