Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

Weather was 22 degrees around 10am. Warmed up to 32-36 by 2pm. In the trees the snow was softer and did not have the Layer of ice as described below. At 3400 in an open area, there were two noticeable layers. A 2+ inches layer of ice. And underneath was dry snow which did not pack into a snowball.
