Old Chute: unskiable first 200 feet due to large rime fins
Old Chute to Triangle, few spots of windblown/packed on very firm crust not softening at this time if year if any wind is present (sun is too low in horizon). Any new snow (when when we get some) will be very dangerous. Glide crack at Devils Kitchen is OPEN. Hogsback Bergschrund is OPEN.
Triangle Moraine to Palmer: water ice knobs (chickenheads) are bad for both uphill and downhill skiing
Palmer to White River: S and SE facing soft, with typical glide cracks in center moraines but no active slide activity. Other aspects FIRM .
