Comments:
Witnessed a skier triggered wind slab avalanche at 1:05 pm. Crown roughly 200 feet across and around one foot in depth. Some slab pieces were two feet in depth. No one was caught in the slide but it was in a busy spot with skiers going down and several climbers ascending. It slid about 300 to 400 feet.

Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

A mix of a soft and icy climb. Observed roller balls on steep south facing rocky terrain and some collapsed cornices. Descent started around 2:30 pm. Icy near the top and corn snow at around 6500 ft and below.
