Clear in the AM, then broken clouds and periods of flat light. Few clouds and strong sun starting around 1230, finally building clouds and light snow flurries at 15:30, but still some sun.
Wet loose cycle on southerly aspects of Herman to D1.5 with warming at 1230-1300 hrs. Lots of rollerballs on most aspects. Second hand report of a slab triggered by wet loose or tree bomb on the Diamond in the afternoon. Dry loose smaller than a few days ago.
Moist to wet snow surfaces on nearly everywhere. Straight north aspects >5k' will probably hold dry snow Wednesday.
30-45cm HST since 3/31, 4F>1F. Density breaks between afternoon snow shower layers popped in tilt tests but no slab to speak of. 3/31 interface is not easy to see but it's there. 3/23 interface down 80cm is visible as a layer of larger grains. Didn't look faceted at the present but maybe faceted on 3/22 and has since rounded out? No significant test results.
