A semi-breakable crust is present on the surface where we traveled, limiting snow transport.
The main goal of the day was getting out on the Glacier Cruisers Youth Ride, which was a blast. Everywere we traveled the surface crust was present. It was solid enough to lock the snowpack in place, and I wasn't concerned about avalanches where I went.
