Mixed . . . a few peeks of blue sky but greyed out most of the day. Periods of snowfall and wind but not sustained until mid afternoon. Warmer and less windy than anticipated.
A few test slopes produced small wind slabs up to 20cm deep . . . nothing beyond that. Signs of rollers and small wet loose from prior warming.
In most areas 5-20cm of dense new snow and/or wind slabs over rest on 4F PP. Lots of localized cracking but no shooting cracks other than on select test slopes.
Structure down to MLK crust is highly variable w/ crust down 25-150cm in pits in close proximity. Suspect that various wind events since mid-Jan scoured spx down to the crust in isolated features and it's only starting to build back.
1F layer of FC/RG down 25-50cm. In some places, this layer rests on MLK. All FC observed seemed better described as small mixed forms than a true, well developed FC layer or FCxr
No ECTP's at either 1F facets/round or MLK, a few ECTN's. CT scores varied widely but all SP's at facet/round layers.
