Ski pen was 6-8" in sheltered terrain this morning.
At ridgetops in the afternoon, we observed significant scouring with winds out of the south and ski pen of 1" or less.
This afternoon around 3:00 PM, we got repeated reactive (easy planar) hand shear results on N facing aspects where there was obvious wind loading. The wind slabs we found were 6" thick and barely harder (F+) than the weak snow (F hard) below.
Wind speeds seemed to be loading mid-slope and below by afternoon.
