Clear + mostly calm except at ridge top. Solar aspects were not getting any cooling from the light breeze.
Widespread wet loose to D2 (most D1-1.5) on SE>SW aspects. Not running particularly far - garden variety wet loose cycle. Lot of shallow sluff in steep shaded terrain. No new human or naturally triggered slab avalanches were observed.
Up to 5cm weak PP w/ some faceting and small SH at the surface in shaded terrain. 30-45cm HST from Jan 17th storm over another 20-30cm from Jan 15th - generally right side up over stout rain crust, all interfaces observed to be well bonded. Jan 17th interface had a thin, weak temp crust found up into the ATL. Wind slabs on lee slopes were found unreactive. The only poor structure found was where there was a few cm's of FC between the temp crust and rain crust. Seems like this is isolated to very exposed terrain that didn't accumulate much snow on the 15th.
