Advanced Information

Weather Summary

Cloud Cover:
Partly Cloudy
Wind:
Light , NW

Generally calm and cool weather with light NW winds on at ridgeline. High thin scattered clouds most of the day with a little bit of valley fog.

Several old avalanches from the storm cycle were observed from D1 - D2 on various aspects and elevations, mostly located under cliffs or other steep terrain.

Snowpack Observations

Snow was generally dry and loose on the surface, but where wind slabs were encountered (near ridgeline) they were sensitive to skier traffic with long shooting cracks.
