Trace at the surface on shaded slopesLow clouds to 4500' through the morning with Few overhead above. Increasing high clouds through the day with light snow begining around 2pm.
Snowpack Observations
South aspects at NTL had 0-120cm HS, all layers were large-grained melt forms
North aspects at NTL had 150-300cm. Laying a mix of moist, small rounded grains and larger grained melt forms. Well drained, no water pooling observed.
The snow surface is rough and beat-up with melting, tracks, etc. Thawed nicely one E>S and a bit more frozen W+N with cooler temps and less PM sun.
Lots of melted-out patches on wind exposed ridgelines. Stumps, tree wells, gully walls, etc. also melting out BTL.
