Low clouds to 4500' through the morning with Few overhead above. Increasing high clouds through the day with light snow begining around 2pm.
South aspects at NTL had 0-120cm HS, all layers were large-grained melt forms
North aspects at NTL had 150-300cm. Laying a mix of moist, small rounded grains and larger grained melt forms. Well drained, no water pooling observed.
The snow surface is rough and beat-up with melting, tracks, etc. Thawed nicely one E>S and a bit more frozen W+N with cooler temps and less PM sun.
Lots of melted-out patches on wind exposed ridgelines. Stumps, tree wells, gully walls, etc. also melting out BTL.
