Recent loose wet observed sw aspect, 3800' on steep rocky slopes. D2.
Supportable but softening 3" surface crust found below 5,000' in the morning, sw aspect. Returning to that slope on the way out it was full mashed potatoes. Above 5k' on sw slopes, snow had softened nicely by noon, and only 1-2" of saturated now was found by 3pm. Good skiing was found on open slopes, with the best found on slopes less than 40 deg. Most steep solar slopes had old rollerballs or loose wet debris.
