Clear in the AM with increasing clouds. Winds light out of NE and bitter cold on the ridgetops then switching to NW in the PM. Lots of wind texturing along ridgetops at 6000' but little transport occurring. W-S-E aspects have plentiful snow available for transport.
Low density and right side up snow on most aspects and all elevations continues to provide amazing skiing and riding. Ski pen is still around 30cm / 12in. The exception to this is Northern aspects in the upper NTL and ATL where the prevailing winds from the last week have turned the surface snow into a 1-2"thick variable wind board which cracked as you traveled across in. Clear skies in the AM and a bit warmer temps had some trees on S aspects dropping their snow loads and creating small roller balls. Wind was light but bitter cold, and switched to NW around 1430. A hint of a sun crust may be apparent on steep S slopes tomorrow.
