Snowpack Observations
50-100cm at 5500' (varying w/ exposure to wind) - could have used a pick axe to dig pit - 30cm hard, boot supportable, well frozen K Mfcr over P harndess ,moist melt forms to the ground. Snow cover on Baker above 7000' is impressive with glacial snow surfaces looking smooth and uniform and a majority of cracks filled in.
