Unintentionally triggered a soft wind slab while skinning up into couloir feature.

Surprisingly little wind affect below couloir. Went from no cohesion to ~5cm of wind slab at surface to triggered avalanche in about 20 vertical feet. Crown was about 20' vertical feet above me when I triggered it. I was near bottom/middle of slab and carried most all of path. Able to turn skis downhill but not ski away until slide almost stopped. Uninjured. Was with a partner who was just outside the path and saw it happen.
