While the slide is more than 48hrs old, the debris was large, hard blocks that piled high enough in the feature — a terrain trap — to bury and/or kill someone.

Old D2 slide ran from ~5700'-5100' in The Funnel longer than 48hrs ago. Debris blocks were large and hard. Slide initiated in the the upper third of the run in the higher broader portion of the feature before piling up as the gully constricts.
