Ski cut at the top of the convex produced no result. Two turns in and a hard stop fractured the slope. Soft slab with slight wind effect. Most of the crown I inspected and the bed surface was soft with temperature affected snow, so likely ran on the Jan 4th interface. I found a shallow NW facing edge of the crown that was down to the Xmas crust. The slide ran to upper track with soft debris.
