This avalanche likely occurred last weekend (2/6) or earlier this week.

This wet loose avalanche appeared to initiate in the rocky bands at approximately 5,000 ft on the SW shoulder of Red Mountain. Debris broke several small trees and accumulated both on the shoulder and in the gully. The debris was deep enough to bury, injure, or kill a person.
