Two avalanches starting in the steep cliff band at the top of the south side of Table Mountain, running across the popular traverse.
The more westerly avalanche began in a steep, rocky chute- a glide avalanche. The easterly one was difficult to tell whether it was a glide or wet slab avalanche. They both began very skinny, 5-10m wide, and then fanned out into larger swaths, typical of wet snow avalanches.
