Avalanche Occurrence

Comments:

Not much else is known other than photo - likely triggered 1/12-13 as part of rain event (w/ heavy snow highest elevations). Observed 1/14 - ran to valley floor. A very similar avalanche occurred in the same place with a similar crown in 2021.

Tapered crown on south end shows slab had some variation in thickness from wind loading(?) Weak layer unknown . . . .

Edit: reports indicate this may have released on the morning of the 14th . . . unconfirmed
