Comments:

Very large, D3, wet avalanche initiated from steep rocks. Started as a point release. It may have broken out as a slab later, but tough to tell. Gouged to the ground in places. This likely ran with the Jan 12th rain event. Observed on Jan 23rd. Note the gushing creek in photos showing significant melt water draining out of the snowpack.
