Comments:

Collection of soft slab and loose wet avalanches in the Gorge canyon east of Newhalem above Highway 20. All naturally triggered and D2 or less in size. None completely buried road but most came down to at least road edge or blocked one lane.

Dry snow avalanche(s) associated with intense snowfall midday on Jan 6, and loose wet avalanches from rising snow levels/transition to rain late on the 6th or early on the 7th.

Road cleared and open to traffic midday on the 8th.
