Mt. Herman/Bagley Creek
Table Mountain

A dozen wet loose many aspects NTL around Upper Bagely, all D2 or less and all initiated from steep rocky and/or treed terrain. A few on Table north aspect ran a good distance being on a sustained slope (+600' vertical) but did not entrain much snow to become wider. One small glide avalanche on north facing Herman in steep terrain above Bagely Creek that released between 11:45 and 13:00. Many glide cracks starting to creep open . . . .

Snowpack Observations

Wet upper spx of 45cm above 1/6 MFcr, 10-15cm of MFcl (almost slush at surface) transitioning to wet small RG's above crust. 1/6 crust still firm and frozen and not seeming to pass much water through as small RG's below moist - but not wet - for the next 30cm. No water observed pooling above crust but dug close to small ridge feature so not much water draining from higher on slope through pit location.

Ski pen 20cm, sticky trail breaking. Boot pen 45cm to supportable crust where observed.

Avalanche Problems

A combination of loose wet, glide and wet slab all aspects NTL. In driving through BTL seems seemingly less activity as spx saw significant water on Jan 6th. No obs ATL for Storm Slab
