Took a group wanting to practice self-arrest and steep snow skiing up the side of Whitehorse. Snow resembling styrofoam greeted us on Swede Heaven and only firmed up throughout the day.
We dug into the sides of the Neiderprum to create steeper angles to practice on top of and didn't notice any unstable conditions. 3 to 4 feet continously by 1200ft elevation.
The upper portions of WH and the So-Bahli-Ahli Glacier looked amazing, though I didn't have binoculars and can't tell you if we saw any recent slides up top.
