Observations
Strong W gusts driving E down I-90. Defiance W aspect didn’t demonstrate any obvious wins loading. The SW ridge of Granite Mt was windscoured up spine (exposed rock and ice). Denny Creek drainage appeared more wind sheltered on W side of the creek up high. Lower aspects seemed very wind loaded. Hemlock, Denny, and Alpental Pt were largely snow free, but aspects are over 35 degrees.
