Westerly aspects had 1-2" of light snow on a breakable crust.
Couldn't feel the crust on N->E aspects.
Cornices were growing rapidly and very sensitive to trigger. I observed some shooting cracks in small windslabs at the ridgeline. Snow and wind increasing throughout the day.
