Observations

Clouds and temperatures in the upper 30's. Approached via Bullion Basin. About 4"+ of new on top of old crusts and storm snow gradually became less "sticky" as we ascended above 5500'. We were at least the second party up to the Bullion Peak area. At about 2:30 PM we transitioned on a NW aspect @ 6300'. 100-200 ft below the ridge, triggered a small slab (10-15 ft wide), which slid into the trees about 30 feet. Witnessed another slab which was about 4-6" deep/15-20 ft wide and slid 200-300 ft downslope in total.
