Headed up Snoqualmie Mountain via Phantom Sunday morning. Above 4500' snow about 3-4" of new snow blanketed older snow below. Older snow below had not fully refrozen allowing easy skinning up to the summit. During the ascent, pockets of wind transported snow was observed in pockets as deep as 6" which did show signs of slab formation, but isolated.
Descended down Slot, with similar condition as observed on the ascent - cold dry snow down to the apron.
Ascending Thunder Creek, roller balls were observed.
