Boarder entered rollover from above. Shooting cracks appeared immediately but failed to continue propagating on ridge line or entrain much more snow as the slab slid. The rider had ridden off to the side of the slide path before momentum had built.
Some of these slopes had wind textured snow that looked cross loaded in appearance at lower elevations below the ridge. The convex rollovers on the ridge appeared built up like the one in the photo.
