Comments:
My partner triggered a wet loose avalanche on a north facing couloir and was carried a few feet before being able to ski out. The terrain was probably around 40ish degrees.
None reported
We started pretty late in the day, saw a lot of rollerball activity/wet loose slides, but thought if we went high enough and stayed on north aspects we could avoid the wet loose problem. However, we still ended up triggering a slide around 4pm. I skied first, triggered some sluff, but was able to avoid being carried. My partner was caught and carried for about 50 vertical feet and was able to ski away after. We were probably a bit over confident given the aspect and did not take into account time of day.
