Snow on trees at 3800’. The trees on the upper slopes of arrowhead did not have snow however. We realized why when the sun poked out for 10 min. The solar exposure was strong and we observed natural pinwheels below our skin track, and on the upper slopes of arrowhead. We bailed on the summit at this point.
