Comments:
Saw signs of recent soft slab and dry loose avalanches that likely ran during higher precip intensities this morning. Aspects N-NE-E.

The drive up was informational with rain falling on new snow and continuing as rain to pass level. This sign of an upside down snowpack had us select more conservative terrain options.
Terrain: Travelled up the Alpental Valley to Snow Lake Divide and skied multiple north facing runs.
Avalanche: Observed a few recent storm slabs. All D1 with ~15cm crowns but running a few hundred feet.
Snowpack: Upside down with last night’s storm snow more dense than the weekend storm snow. Arduous trail breaking with ski pen ~40cm and ski tips not wanting to slide back to surface through denser snow.
Weather: Started around 0800 with obscured sky and S2. Sky cleared to broken around noon with no precip. Finished at 1400 back under obscured and S2.
