Close to the Kendall Peak Lakes. Where the trees start to thin out and feels close to treeline. It is not avalanche terrain, but as we walked we noticed consistent shooting cracks. If we had been on avalanche terrain I would've been concerned. It happened on South, West and Southwest aspects.
