steep roll (35-40 degrees) in iceberg trees, crown up 30-40cms, propagation 100+ feet, appeared to fail within the new storm snow.

We were slowly stepping out based on our first couple of runs in iceberg trees, not surprised it popped. A bit of an 'accidental' ski cut., came in at an angle and felt it go and just steered off to the side.

On our final skin out of iceberg trees we saw this crown as well (W facing), hard to tell the trigger, likely a skier steered into the steeper terrain, though possibly a natural trigger

also this natural happened sometime earlier today in diamond trees, coming down the grotto-ish
