Comments:
Didn't see the trigger, began in the rock chutes north of Wa Pass overlook Some debris ran to highway, approx 1800 feet from where we first observed the avalanche to terminus, west side of highway. There was no flow across the highway, but some chunks of snow and ice, up to 2ft in diameter did make it to the highway. No impediment to sled travel.

By 11:30, sky changed to overcast, light precip started over WA Pass, falling as very light and intermittent snow. Winds light to moderate, S / SE. Avalanche observed at 2:00pm, from the hairpin.
