Uploadeded imagery is from the SW aspect of Mt. Margaret at 5380', with cornice image on the east side of the ridge (there were several large cornices on the east side of the ridge.) Also noticed wind scouring on exposed West aspects along the ridgeline (but Mt. Margaret is somewhat protected by trees.) In the video you'll see collapse of the recent storm snow around the 2nd elbow strike, with the previous layer collapse on 4; layers below that remained stable through the remaining test. We reran the test on a second column (me tapping instead) to yield similar (+-1 tap) results. We ultimately felt comfortable skiing the tree slopes on the west aspects of Mt. Margaret, as was our post storm snow plan.
(We had a video of the layer test, but can't upload)
