Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

Skied between 4200-4800ft. elevation. Didn’t go all the way to the top because it seemed more wind sheltered down below. From where we stopped, we could see cornices formed at the top. Winds were very calm and did not see signs of wind transported snow or wind slabs or warming. No major signs of unstable snow, but plenty of sluff. Found the rain crust about 2ft down.
