Sustained snow starts at around 3800' in the area, with substantially deeper accumulations above 4500'. While numerous obstacles still exist, footprints and ski/board tracks we were prevalent on many slopes.
Snow depths: NE-E 5500' 6-10" (15-25cm). SE-S 5500' 6-8" (15-20cm). A thin surface crust was present in some locations, but it was very weak. Basal ice could be found below the snow in sheltered NE facing areas, but it's hard to say how widespread it is. Currently, the snowpack in this area did not show signs of layering. However, we did not travel to more wind-affected areas near ridge crest.
