Observations

We broke trail in deep powder starting around 8:30. It was a couple feet deep at the start and 3-4 or more feet deep near the top. We stayed on the road bed to avoid triggering slopes. The sun was out in the morning but fog, wind and ice rolled in up high in the afternoon

Observed Avalanche Problem #1: 

Comments: 
Graupel was present at all elevations of the trail. Roller balls were forming at earlly to mid morning at the lower and mid ranges.
