Observations
Image was taken during an Avalanche Course in the 3800 foot area in the Commonwealth. The image illustrates the impressive graupel shower activity that buried the rain soaked layer already 25cm deep by the 2pm on Tuesday.
Compression test revealed no result, but it is the graupel layer that could provide an additional weak layer in the next few days.
