Comments:
Saw two large avys on a south east facing slope near skyline lake. They slid quite large, crowns looked to be 3-4ft deep and probably each 50 ft wide. I would guess that they slid on the 2/11 layer, not all the way down to the mid jan layer. Saw some bigish trees destroyed around 500 feet below from the road when I drove past it later too. Lots of slide activity on Lichtenberg too. Given the forecast, this was expected, but seeing the destroyed trees for yourself really puts it in perspective.

I traveled up the snowshoe track to skyline, but instead of turning to the lake I turned towards the radio tower on lookers right. I saw the avalanches on the other side of the road. On low angle terrain, the skiing was great, felt like 6-8in of lighter snow on top of heavier stuff. I didn't have time to dig very deep unfortunately
