Staying off of exposed slopes, we toured to the 5,700 ft level on the west ridge. We found 6-8" off moist snow over dry snow. A deep tap test was performed on buried facets with no results. Facets are sintering nicely. (See photo). Wet snow did not form slabs. We returned via our up track without incident.
