-NW facing aspect
-No shooting cracks but some isolated whumpfing
-No signs of recent avy activity
-Pits showed a very obvious crust ~8" down and 2-3" thick, with snow above and below both soft. Snow directly under the crust seemed rotten as it would basically fall out as you'd dig straight down, leaving the crust layer undersupported
-Could get layers to collapse in compression test with 2 taps from shoulder. Wasn't a high energy failure, but clearly failed on the obvious crust
-Able to get top to slide with a Rutschblock test and VERY soft jump (maybe 2" jump). Interestingly the blocks that slid out showed a separate, thinner crust layer about half the depth to the larger layer, so we could break them apart cleanly into two
