Observations
We came upon these snow rollers on the south aspect of the slope near where the Lower Lakes Trail meets up with the Valley Road this morning at 11:48 am. The largest roller pictured is about two feet in diameter.
Not pictured here, we later observed an avalanche crown on the southwest aspect of the slope below the Skyline Trail east of Golden Gate. We also heard but did not see a whump while on the Valley Road at Fourth Crossing/Paradise Falls at about 1 pm.
