Observations

Stayed on low angle slopes and had a great day. Saw chunks of what looked like wind slabs break off at corners of skintracks and on parts of the descent. Some went around 2 to 3 feet wide, particularly on the west side of Platinum but never propagated further. Saw evidence of and experienced a lot of wind on the west side of Platinum as well. Skied low angle slopes in Cement Basin and didn't observe instability there.

Dug a pit at 5,600ft and found 12.5 cm of new snow at around 10am. Our column test failed at the solstice crust at 27 taps.
