Signs of Unstable Snow

Did you see shooting cracks?
Yes, Isolated
Did you experience collapsing or whumpfing?
Yes, Widespread

Observations

WSW winds transporting snow earlier in the day. Wind direction seem to change to northerly as day went on.

Lots of interesting layers developing. With that said, some areas are wind scoured to the ground and some areas have more than a pole-length’s depth of wind transport.

Lots of wind slab that was somewhat reactive but did not propagate. Interested to see how that changes between today and tomorrow.
