Observations
Warmer day than we expected at the pass. Terrible low elevation skinning led to dry fluffy snow higher up. As the day progressed the sun got really intense. We changed plans due to how warm it was. Wet loose activity was rampant today, and yesterday judging from our observations. The debris piles we saw coming off Kendall Mountain into the Adventure Zone were pretty frightening. Conditions were changing rapidly today, requiring us to step it back after going into today with a stepping-out mindset.
North-facing slopes skied amazing.
