Lots of evidence of slab avalanches from the rain yesterday off of Table and Herman. Saw a very large crown on Shuksan upper W face (size >=3) and a distant crown on Larabee SW face.
Current snowpack is 5" fluffy dust on supportive crust. Wind effect minimal where we traveled. Didn't dig but my feeling was triggering anything below the rain crust would be very unlikely. Loose snow on top was unconsolidated and saw others trigger sluffs in steep esp sunny terrain.
Some sun crust forming in steeper, S aspects by afternoon. Size 1 loose naturals from cliffs midday.
