Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

17-20in new snow from the last 3 days in boundary basin and silver basin. Minor cracking observed while skinning up boundary basin N aspect. snow texture slightly changed with aspect from NE to N as we skinned up.
HS @6450 NE: >390cm
We dug down into the snow and weren't able to find as strong of a crust as on other aspects, but still failure on the new/old interface. Very deep snow at this location, hard to get to the bottom, but somewhere close to 400cm
